Sara’s styling journey began in New York, assisting top food stylists on editorial shoots for Bon Appétit, SELF, Shape, and Ladies Home Journal. She quickly made her mark, becoming the lead food stylist and recipe developer for James Beard Award–winning author James Peterson, contributing to renowned cookbooks such as Beef, Kitchen Simple, and Vegetables.

After relocating to Colorado, Sara launched a successful artisan granola brand and became an essential part of Beth Hawkins’ styling team. She has contributed to hundreds of national campaigns, and is the person Beth always calls upon to finesse the most important hero items before they hit the set. Known as a “detail queen,” Sara has an uncanny ability to perfect texture, color, and composition at the highest level, especially when precision and polish are non-negotiable.

Sara’s assisting and lead styling client experience is both broad and elite, with standout work for brands like Noodles and Co, Red Robin, Jack and Annie’s, Tender Belly, National Cattlemen’s Beef Association, Meati, and Kevin’s Natural Foods, alongside work for Starbucks, Silk, Bimbo, Daiya, Kevita, Halo Top Orgain, and Honey Stinger. She brings calm under pressure, creative problem-solving, and a deep love of styling that comes through in every shot.
